Off The Rails

In an emergency a timely response is everything.

When a train derailed and spilled a large volume of fuel at a train switchyard the clock was ticking. The train has to be removed, the tracks repaired, a critical switch replaced, and fuel and contaminated soils MUST be removed before the tracks are back in service.

Customers don't want to compound the problem by damaging underground utilities in the area and waiting days for service response is just not an option.

Fortunately they called MPL and we had the utilities in the area identified and marked before they had even finished stabilizing the derailed locomotive within hours of their call.
